Mod 50 Weapons
You can modify weapons at weapon workbenches in the game. To unlock this achievement, make a total of 50 modifications to weapons throughout your campaign.
You can monitor your progress in the status menu under the "Crafting" tab.
Guide to Unlocking "Soldier of Fortune"
Weapons in the game can be modified at Weapon Workbenches, with one available in the basement of the Lodge, where you first meet the Constellation faction (found in the Alpha Centauri system, on the planet Jemison at the Landing Site, The Lodge).
Upon entering the building, turn right and proceed downstairs to the basement where the Weapon Workbench is located.
To modify weapon parts, ensure you have the necessary materials and research level.
- Materials can be obtained quickly by purchasing from merchants or mined from planets, albeit more slowly.
- To increase your research level, interact with a Research Lab, located in the same basement as the Workbench. Select the Weaponry category to research different categories. This research requires resources, and the more categories you explore, the more modification options you unlock.
To monitor your progress, navigate to Menu > Status > Crafting > Weapon Mods Crafted / Armor Mods Crafted in the game. This menu allows you to see the number and type of weapon and armor mods you have crafted throughout your gameplay.
