InventoryTarget
ResetInventory
To target your character, use the command below:
player.ResetInventory

This command resets a container or a character's inventory.

In-Depth Description

The resetinventory command resets the inventory of a container or character to its original state.

  1. Inventory Restoration: Any changes made to an NPC's inventory or a container can be reversed. Using the command ensures that the inventory returns to its original, pre-altered state.
  2. Universal Application: The command doesn't just work on live NPCs but is also effective on dead NPCs and different containers, including chests.

When and Why Should You Use the resetinventory Command?

  1. Rectifying Mistakes: Perhaps you removed an essential item from an NPC using the removeallitems command and later realized your error. With resetinventory, you can conveniently revert your actions, restoring the NPC's inventory to its default state.
  2. Loot Repetition: Players looking to acquire multiple copies of a particular item can use this command to their advantage. For instance, after pickpocketing an item, resetting the NPC's inventory allows you to pickpocket the same item again.
  3. Variable Container Content: For those who enjoy looting and exploring, the command offers the chance to re-loot containers or corpses. Given that containers have slightly randomized contents, you might discover different items upon each reset, adding an element of surprise to your looting escapades.
