To target your character, use the command below:
player.PushActorAway

This command will push an actor away in a random direction.

Argument Information

The syntax for this Starfield command is as follows:

Reference ID

The ID of the actor you wish to push away.

Number
Type: Number

The number of units you wish to push the actor away. A positive number will push the actor away from your character, while a negative number will pull the actor towards your character.

Quick Overview

The PushActorAway command pushes an actor away from its current position in a random direction based on the input number.

When using positive numbers: Pushes the actor away from their current position. The larger the number, the greater the force of the push. When using negative numbers: Pulls the actor towards your character.

This command can have unintended effects, especially when used with high force values. It may cause NPCs to be pushed into walls, off cliffs, or other unintended locations.

Examples

pushactoraway 14 50

This command will push the actor with the ID 14 away from your character.

pushactoraway 1A6B8 -800

This command will pull the actor with the ID 14 towards your character.

Help

  • Open the console: Press the tilde key ~ to open the console. This key is generally near the 1 and Esc keys.
  • Case insensitive: Commands are not case sensitive. This means you can enter them using lowercase or uppercase letters.
  • Target commands: Commands that are highlighted as a 'target' command can be used to target your own character or an NPC/object. To target your own character, type player. followed by the command. To target an NPC/object, click on the it and then type the command.
  • Leading zeros: All IDs, reference IDs, base IDs, etc. can be entered without the leading zeros. For example 00003348 can be entered as 3348.
